The official welcome took place on this day and the teams started with their working sessions. The Austrian team presented their game ideas and the tools they used: Action bound for a game-based tour through Laa. Twine, a tool to tell stories with different endings. Students can interact with the story and determine the endings by making decisions. Unity is a tool by which you can create your own video game. After lunch we played our own Action bound live and everyone got important facts about our town combined with a lot of fun. Later people enjoyed the Spa in Laa.

This day we went to Vienna and visited an educational institution, called FLIP Financial Life Park (FLIP). It has opened recently and it can help educational organizations to teach students everyday economics (e.g., the value of money). The pedagogical tools make use of modern IT tools so to make students get engaged. This experience had a deep impact to the pupils. After that the teams visisted some historical sites, like Schönbrunn.

Early in the morning we took the train towards Vienna to visit a very modern Museum. The museuem uses a 5D movie to teach people something about Viennese history. In addition, they employ a lot of other attractive methods to transfer interesting information to visitors. After that we walked through the old town of Vienna and got some historical and cultural information. Of course, we also visited the traditional Christmas market.
